SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 21 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The surroundings of the Auditorio de Tenerife hosted on Friday night the opening ceremony and the draw for candidates for queen of the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife 2023 in its three modalities. The evening was starred by the 36 applicants, who knew their order of participation through the draw that took place during the course of the show.

Emilia González was in charge of conducting this first date of the Carnival of the capital, in which she also highlighted the performance of the Tenerife artist Jadel, interpreter of ‘Suave’, the official song of this edition, on the red carpet of a stage inspired in the most representative elements of New York, the theme of this edition. The dance groups of the chicharrero Carnival comparsas also took part.

Directed by Enrique Camacho, the opening ceremony of the Santa Cruz Carnival was broadcast live on Canarian Television for the entire Archipelago and was attended by 800 spectators. During the development of the show, the five presenters of the Children’s Gala were also met, who were selected from more than twenty boys and girls, in the casting held last Wednesday, January 11.

The order in which the candidates for Carnival queens will parade is as follows: Adult Queen, Andrea Nazco Leroy, with the fantasy ‘Illuminame’, designed by Jonathan Suárez and representing Inmobiliaria Casas Ideales; Mayte Gutiérrez Febles, with the fantasy ‘Flor de Luna’, designed by Cavi Lladó and representing Bonnet Suministros y Maquinarias SL.; Gabriela Luis González, with the fantasy ‘I Love You’, designed by RP Diseño and representing Los Chinchosos murga and the Centenero Neighborhood Association.

They will be followed by Hirisley Jiménez Marrero, with the fantasy ‘Metamorphosis’, designed by Daniel Pagés and representing McDonald’s and El Día-La Opinión de Tenerife; Alicia Gómez Castro, with the fantasy ‘Adórame’, designed by Tin Quintero and representing hardware store Las Pirámides, SL and hardware store Castro Delgado, SL.; Alba Olmos Izquierdo, with the fantasy ‘Enamorada’, designed by Jorge González Santana and representing the Real Club Náutico de Tenerife and Almacenes El Kilo; Adriana Peña Fumero, with the fantasy ‘Lisboa’, designed by Santi Castro and representing the Añaza Carrefour Shopping Center.

They will continue with Marta Santana Rodríguez, with the fantasy ‘Historia de una Reina’, designed by Alexis Santana and representing Tecnocasa; Rosaura Begoña Pérez, with the fantasy ‘The awakening of Coventina’, designed by Creaciones de La Rosa and representing JM Zamorales; Burger Addicts, SL; and Mariola Beauty Cream; Damaris Cabrera Benito, with the fantasy ‘La Hiedra’, designed by Juan Carlos Armas and representing El Gusto por el Vino and Dormitorium; Tibisay Sanabria Reyes, with the fantasy ‘Laos’, designed by Creaciones Santana and representing the fashion, accessories and decoration store Marindia; Los Andenes tobacconist; Taurus bookstore; and Zamacois confectionery and pastry shop; Carmen Luna Hibner Hernández, with the fantasy ‘A Sea of ​​Consciousness’, designed by Alfonso Baute and representing Iberostar Hotels & Resort; Laura Fernández Ruíz, with the fantasy ‘Así Soy’, designed by Sedomir and representing Alcampo La Laguna Shopping Center; Patricia Lara González, with the ‘Prohibida’ pattern, designed by Dámaso Ramos and representing by Luci Estilistas, and Elena Rodríguez Díaz, with the ‘Maisha’ pattern, designed by Jorge González Santana and representing Excellence Windows Technology.

They will be followed by María Teodora Pérez Bencomo, with the fantasy ‘Something Little’, designed by Patricia Bencomo Garro and representing Folder Papelerías; Nayara Plasencia Mesa, with the fantasy ‘Remember Me’, designed by Eduardo Martín and representing the El Lajar de Bello restaurant; Paola Bello Navarro, with the fantasy ‘Post Data: I Love You’, designed by Alexis Santana and representing Grupo El Cine; Abordo restaurant, and CRC San Benito and Santa Cruz; Noa León Pérez, with the fantasy ‘I’ll take it to my heart’, designed by José Javier Santana Rivero and representing Radio Marca Tenerife; Aroa Martín Rodríguez, with the fantasy ‘Save the Queen’, designed by Jonathan Suárez and representing Convenciones y Espectáculos SL and BJ Producciones; Chloe Rodríguez Herranz, with the fantasy ‘Sincerely: Chloe’, designed by José Ángel Ramos González and representing Nautimar Reparaciones and Meca Arquitectura; Iraya Hernández Pérez, with the fantasy ‘Chocolate and Carnival, the best mixture to shine’, designed by Ruymán Pérez Jorge and representing the Comparsa Los Tabajaras Cultural Association, and Lucía González García, with the fantasy ‘I’ll go for you until the end of the mundo’, designed by Creaciones de La Rosa and representing the Town Hall of San Juan de la Rambla; and the La Barca Toscal Longuera Neighborhood Association.
