SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The general director of Vocational Training (FP) and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports, Rosario Gañán, will intervene in three conferences that are held in these two weeks to address the regulatory changes introduced in these teachings from of the approval, last year, of the new Organic Law for the Organization and Integration of Vocational Training, and the way in which it will help students to integrate into the labor market through innovation and entrepreneurship.

The first session will take place tomorrow, Thursday, at the César Manrique Integrated Vocational Training Center (CIFP) (in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife) from 09:00. The head of this department will speak at the opening of the event, starting at 9:30 am, together with the center’s director, Jorge Rivero.

On this occasion, the general director will refer to the novelties of said regulations, while Inmaculada Martínez Valpuesta, moderator and coordinator of Training in Work Centers (FCT) of the CIFP César Manrique, will allude to this module and Dual FP. At 11:15 a.m. the work groups for professional families will begin; at 12:35 pm the conclusions will be presented, and at 12:50 pm the closing ceremony will take place.

The following two meetings have the collaboration of the Government of the Canary Islands and are organized by the CaixaBank Dualiza Foundation and the Association of FP Business Centers. The first of these appointments will take place on January 26 at the facilities of the CIFP Virgen de las Nieves (in Santa Cruz de La Palma) from 9:30 am. The objective is to show the opportunities and difficulties of Dual Vocational Training on that island and establish joint work proposals between companies and educational centers of these teachings for its promotion.

The day will begin with a presentation, at 10:00 a.m., followed by different interventions that will address the new FP scenario, the help tools on the way to Dual FP, the sectoral “X-ray” in La Palma, the companies and the educational centers before this modality of teaching, good practices in this area, the figure of the prospector and the proposal to “dualize”, among other topics. The closure of the event is scheduled for 1:20 p.m.

Finally, on the 30th of this month, the meeting ‘FP in the audiovisual sector in the Canary Islands’ will be held at the CIFP Las Indias, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, starting at 09:30. On this occasion, Gañán will explain the new FP scenario at 10:15 a.m., followed by interventions by Natacha Mora, coordinator of Canary Islands Film, and Genoveva Ayala, manager of the Canary Islands Audivisual Cluster, on the audiovisual sector on the islands, “a vision towards the future”. At 10:45 a.m. there will be a speech by the directors of CIFP Las Indias, Gregorio Hernández, and CIFP César Manrique, Jorge Rivero, on the collaboration between educational centers and the Audiovisual Cluster of the Canary Islands in the project “Open innovation in the audiovisual sector “.

At 11:00 a.m. a round table will begin in which the challenges for the implementation of Dual Vocational Training in this sector will be analyzed, after which a visit has been organized at 12:00 p.m. to the sample of the characterization and professional makeup cycles and tailor-made costumes and shows, at the CIFP Las Indias facilities. Closing is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
