Korea and the Canary Islands are two territories that, despite what most people may think, are closely linked through politics, culture and traditions: from the similarities between the sports that take place in both places, to the fact that the Canary Islands were one of the first Korean communities in the world in the last century thanks to its strategic position and its access to the sea.

From those ties the restaurant was born Gangnam Food Stationa place that, after its success, has given way to a new Korean cuisine restaurant in Santa Cruz with a more experiential concept and where you can read NOTICE DIARY through the new application, which allows reading the newspaper through a smartphone. At Itaewon In Seoul Asian Food, the star dishes are Bibimbap – a mixture of rice with vegetables or meat, finished with the yolk of a raw and spicy egg -; the Bonchon -fried chicken with agri-, spicy, citrus or almonds, and the Bulgogi -very tender beef with a base of lettuce and vegetables.

In addition, it has Kimchi -fermented vegetables- and Korean drinks such as Soju, Makgeolli or Korean cocktails. Although they have many more typical South Korean dishes and drinks, it is important to remember that going to Itaewon is an experience in itself, since, in addition to each client receiving personalized advice on Korean culture and the protocol to follow to eat and drink, they want the clientele to feel as close as possible to Korea, holding cultural events with gastronomic talks, gastronomic workshops and K-POP music.
