Since last week, the students of the Igueste Early Childhood and Primary Education Center (CEIP) have had a park for children between the ages of 2 and 6. The action has consisted not only in replacing two games, but in changing the entire pavement, with a municipal investment of 14,877 euros.
An educational center in Igueste, in Candelaria, in which this past summer, in addition, painting tasks were carried out, improvements in the gardens, common areas and classroom of the Association of Mothers and Fathers of Students, the extension of the dining room and the repair of the main staircase, improving its safety.
The mayor, Mari Brito, and the Councilor for Education, Maeva Tendero, point out that the year’s investment in the five educational centers of the municipality exceeds 200,000 euros.
