The 8th Canary Islands Motor Show, which takes place from 20 to 23 October at the Recinto Ferial de Tenerife, will host a stand where you can learn about the layout of the Tenerife Motor Circuit track through the simulation racing video game Assetto Corsa.
The sports infrastructure stand will be located at the entrance of the Hall and It will have two racing vehicle simulators that visitors can try that, in addition, they will have the possibility of participating in a tournament during the three days of the event.
the eighth Canary Islands Motor Showorganized by the Cabildo and It will occupy a space of 16,000 square metres, with the participation of 40 vehicle brands and more than 70 commercial stands related to auxiliary companies in the automotive sector.
With opening hours from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., admission costs three euros, except for those over 65 and under 10, who can enter for free.
As for the tournament linked to the Tenerife Motor Circuit, at 9:00 p.m. on October 22, the eight finalists will be announced, who will participate in the final the next day, starting at 4:00 p.m. The format of the competition will be the best time of a lap of the track but they will have the opportunity to carry out a previous reconnaissance route. The pilot will go to the classification with his best time and the participants who obtain the fastest laps of the circuit will be classified as finalists.
The quarterfinals, semifinals and later the final will be played, which will follow the same structure as the qualifying round. All finalist drivers will receive various gifts related to the circuit.
The Tenerife Motor Circuit will have a layout of 4,050 meters in length, 16 curves and will have the particularity of being one of the few in the world in which it will be run in an anti-clockwise direction. In the circuit it will be possible to reach maximum car speeds of 320 km/h and minimum speeds of 95 in the steepest curve. In the case of motorcycles, the speed range ranges between 315 and 80 km/h.
