José Peraza, official chronicler of the Church of Our Lady of Candelaria, in La Vera, asks the mayor of Puerto de la Cruz, Marco González Mesa (PSOE), to replace the plaque that gave name to the street given in memory of the priest Peter Gonzalez Table, next to the field of football from the neighborhood Peraza details that the name of this route was decided in the plenary session of Porto “unanimously on May 17, 2001.” The lettering was produced on August 11, 2001, but at present there is no plaque that remembers this religious, who died in 2020, “who carried out great pastoral work for more than 42 years.”
