SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 5 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife and the NovaGob Foundation have signed today, Wednesday, a General Protocol of Action that will serve as a framework for the development of joint actions with which to improve public services.
The document, which has been signed by the second vice president and counselor for the Presidency, Finance and Modernization, Berta Pérez, and the director of the NovaGob Foundation, Loredana Stan, is valid for an initial four years.
Berta Pérez assured that this agreement “responds to the objective of the Cabildo of promoting good governance, transparency and innovation to offer more efficient public services in accordance with the needs of the population, both from the Island Corporation and dependent entities, as well as from the municipalities of the island, fundamentally in those with less than 20,000 inhabitants”.
For her part, Loredana Stan stated that this agreement is one more step in the relationship they have established over the years with the Cabildo de Tenerife and represents “an exciting challenge for our Foundation, focused on improving management and establishing networks professionals,” he added.
The signed document establishes various collaboration alternatives, including training activities, the development of research projects and the preparation of studies and reports. Specifically, it also contemplates the advice of the Foundation for the implementation by the Cabildo de Laboratorios and public innovation projects that allow progress in more efficient public management.
Within the framework of this agreement, the Cabildo and the Novagob Foundation will celebrate tomorrow, Thursday, the first Meeting on public innovation in Tenerife, a space created to promote collaboration and synergies between the different public administrations with the common objective of solving problems detected in management through innovation projects.
The conference will be opened by the president of the Cabildo, Pedro Martín, in the Tenerife Auditorium, and the initiatives that the Cabildo is developing in this field to continue advancing in the quality of services will be announced.
