The first rains leave small landslides in Tenerife and La Gomera

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The first rains associated with the tropical storm ‘Hermine’ have left small landslides on the islands of Tenerife and La Gomera this Saturday morning.

In the case of Tenerife, the Municipal Operational Coordination Center (Cecopal) of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has indicated that there has been a detachment of rubble from the facade of a building located on Castillo Street and that the fence of the zone.

In addition, first thing in the morning there was a breakdown at several traffic lights in the capital of Tenerife.

Meanwhile, the Cabildo de La Gomera has explained that a succession of landslides has taken place in various sections of the GM-1 highway and that stones and other elements have been removed from the road.
