The largest outlet in the south of Tenerife will be held again on November 5 and 6 in Arona, next to the Jesús Domínguez Grillo pavilion in Los Cristianos. This is the seventh edition of ExpoOutlet Arona 2022, which returns after two years of absence due to the pandemic and which hopes to bring together, as in previous editions, some 20,000 people around this appointment with purchases and opportunities.

This trade event is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized companies in the municipality, which have priority participation, although not exclusivity. The registration period for businesses will open today and end on October 13. It organizes the Economic Promotion area, which is directed by the councilor Raquel García, and has the collaboration of the Cabildo de Tenerife.

«ExpoOutlet Arona 2022 takes place in a particularly important period, for both businesses and consumers. In this way, we intend to support SMEs and work to reactivate the economy in the municipality, in the same way that we are preparing other actions”, details the councilor for the Economic Promotion area, Raquel García.

The mayor of Arona, José Julián Mena, explains that “Arona is one of the municipalities that has worked hardest in these years of crisis hand in hand with local businesses, with 2.5 million euros in aid to rescue SMEs or the recent call for subsidies aimed at the commercial areas that we have”.

From the Consistorio aronero it is indicated that «the main objective of this event is the revitalization of local retail, offering a space to exhibit and sell their merchandise from other seasons, in perfect condition and without losing quality. All this at a price that supposes a substantial economic advantage of great attraction for the visitors».

The exhibition and sales area will be divided into fashion and accessories, health, beauty and wellness salons; decoration and home; electronics and computing; children’s world and other activities, such as pet shops, gift shops or bookstores.

The participation requirements are to have an establishment open to the public and to belong to the commercial sector; be up to date with municipal, Treasury and Social Security obligations; be registered in the corresponding section of the IAE, and present products with a minimum discount of 50% with respect to the initial price, among others. Registrations will be made from today exclusively electronically through the following institutional web address: http://www.arona.org/Sede-Electronica.
