The City Council of Granadilla de Abona has reopened La Tejita beach to the public this Tuesday after its closure since last Friday due to rainwater runoff.
The company awarded the water analysis service for bathing areas in the municipality, which is carried out by the City Council twice a week, has also confirmed that the water is suitable for bathing.
The consistory highlights that the closure during these days was carried out as a precautionary measure and in order to guarantee adequate levels of security for the population.
