SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The CC-PNC group of the Cabildo de Tenerife has criticized the low execution of investments on the island during the first half of the year, “which barely exceed 32 million euros of the 230 that are planned”, since between January and June “Only 14.1% has been executed”, which highlights “the lack of management by the PSOE and Ciudadanos”.
CC-PNC pointed out that there is an “obvious lack of political leadership” in the Cabildo, which translates into “poor execution in terms of investment, something that affects both citizens and SMEs and the self-employed.” “In the Social Action area, not a single euro of the 20.2 million euros for investments has been executed. The Sustainable Development and Fight against climate change area is in a similar situation, which has barely executed 0, 5% of the 15.7 million euros planned”, detail the nationalists.
They add that in the area of the Presidency, Finance and Modernization “the figures are also very poor, since of the 15.4 million euros that there are for investments, only 1.2% has been executed in the first half of the year. In addition Of the 4 million euros provided for in the area of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, nothing has been executed,” denounces the nationalist formation.
CC-PNC recalls that in the last two years, the PSOE and Ciudadanos “have left 340 million euros unexecuted, something that harms the interests of Tenerife”: “It is necessary to speed up the projects and investments that depend on the Cabildo to reactivate the economy and generate employment. Tenerife has lagged behind in these three years and we do not see that there is an adequate response from the government group to this situation”.
