The mayor of Los Realejos, Adolfo González (PP), and the deputy mayor and Councilor for Contracting, Noelia González (PP), recently announced a new municipal investment of 988,143 euros to undertake another eight works planned in the Neighborhood Plan of this year. These are eight contract lots that are in an open tender with admission of offers until August 1.
«The projects that are in the aforementioned bidding phase basically consist of the resurfacing of roads, and all of them also include the replacement and adaptation of the water supply and rainwater evacuation networks, along the same lines as We have been working in recent years with almost all the interventions included in the Neighborhood Plan. The idea is to improve road services and their aesthetics, but also the pipes and underground infrastructures that run through them and that provide a service to citizens, ”explained the mayor.
The eight planned works will be carried out on El Secuestro street, affecting the entire road and part of the adjacent ones from its intersection with the general highway of San Vicente to its intersection with the street of the same name; Camino Las Rosas, in the center of Icod el Alto; La Trinidad street, from its intersection with Los Fogoneros street, to the vicinity of its intersection with La Zamora highway; the general highway of El Mocán in its sections most affected by the deterioration of the asphalt; El Secadero and La Garrota streets, or the section of Viera y Clavijo street between its intersection with Godínez street and its intersection with Pablo García street. In addition, localized resurfacing is planned in the La Grimona Urbanization in La Zamora, specifically in Bentanor, Echeyde, Guacimara and Yaiza streets, as well as on the Lomo Zamora road, intervening in more than 1,250 linear meters of affected roads. As well as the partial resurfacing of San Agustín street and El Natero and Camino Sanabria streets.
