The rehabilitation of the TF-5 continues in the Valle de La Orotava

The Council of Tenerife continues, through the Roads area, the integral rehabilitation of the pavement of the TF-5 which takes place from Sunday the 17th to the morning of Friday the 22nd of July, at night timebetween 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to reduce the effect on traffic and reduce inconvenience to drivers. With these works an improvement continues throughout 51 kilometers of track.

The Island Councilor for Roads, Enrique Arriaga (Cs)points out that “after the comprehensive rehabilitation of the surface of this road of regional interest, the works now focus on improving links”.

The island director of highways, Thomas Felix Garciahighlights that “it is an innovative work at the national level because 50% of the current pavement is being reusedwhich means a lower consumption of natural resources and the reduction of waste generated, making it a more sustainable and environmentally friendly work”.

From Sunday 17th July and until the morning of Friday 22nd the rehabilitation will focus on three important junctions of the TF-5 which are the ones that give access to La Orotava, Puerto de la Cruz and Los Realejos.

In this way, on Sunday, July 17, the operators will act in exit 33, the link to La Orotavahaving to access the vehicles through exit 32 or 34. Some works that will be repeated at the same point on Monday 18.

Also and in parallel, on Monday it will be paved the link to Los Realejos at exit 39being able to access by the TF-334 through San Vicente or by exit 38 of La Higuerita.

On Tuesday 19 the links that will be worked on are, again the 39 of access to Los Realejosbeing enabled the same accesses for the municipality and there will also be works in exit 32 exit Puerto de la Cruzdrivers will be able to access the tourist town through exit 35

On Wednesday, July 20, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the next day, the asphalting will be carried out at the link of Cross port. Exit 32 kilometer point 32,500, being able to access the Cross port via exit 35. Way. At the same time, the asphalting of the link between The Realejos. Exit 39 being able to access Los Realejos by the TF-334. San Vicente and exit 38, La Higuerita.

Finally, on the night of Thursday, July 21, the link to Cross port. Exit 32, the Port can be accessed through exit 35. At the same time, the asphalting of the Los Realejos junction. The accesses enabled to access Los Realejos are by the TF-334. San Vicente and exit 38 for La Higuerita.
