Five people injured, one of them seriously, after falling with their car down a ravine in Tenerife

A total of five people, including a 6-year-old girl, were injured in varying degrees when their vehicle fell into a ravine as it passed through Guía de Isora, in Tenerife, as reported by the 112 Canarian Emergency and Security Coordination Center. .

The events occurred around 01.21 hours this Monday on the TF-82 road, at the Chiguergue intersection in the aforementioned municipality, a place to which Tenerife firefighters have traveled to free one of the affected women after trapped inside the vehicle and rescued another three people.

Next, the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted a woman who, at the initial moment of care, was in a serious condition after being recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest, for which she was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the University Hospital. Our Lady of La Candelaria.

They have also treated two men, aged 34 and 29, with moderate rib and chest trauma, respectively, for which they were transferred by ambulance to the Quirón Costa Adeje Hospital.

The health personnel have also assisted a 29-year-old woman, who at the initial moment of care presented a moderate upper limb trauma, for which she was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria, a place to which a 6-year-old minor has also been evacuated due to moderate hip trauma.

Members of the Insular Highway Center of the Cabildo de Tenerife also appeared at the scene of the incident, who carried out cleaning tasks on the road, as well as agents from the Civil Guarida and BRIFOR personnel who were close to the scene, collaborating with the emergency; while agents of the Local Police instructed the corresponding proceedings.
