Residents of La Mamora street, on Camino El Burgado, in the Cross porthave asphalted and fixed on their own “as they could” the big potholes in the road, “fed up” that the City hall “I’ve been doing nothing for years.”

Elderly people and two people with disabilities live on that street, and you have to take them by the hand so that they can travel without risk, given that there were neighbors who have already suffered falls.

Residents on this road “are aware that they are doing the job for the administration”, but also that “they cannot continue like this. The situation in which he finds himself is shameful, ”they maintain.

“The sidewalk has been impassable since we began to live, it is patched and the street is full of holes and large stones because they have never come to pave for eleven years. We have unsuccessfully filed claims with the Local Police, we have filed petitions, spoken with the mayor, with the Councilor for Services and with the person in charge of Town Planning”, they lament.

“We have knocked on all the doors, even from the opposition. “Councilors from CC came, they told us they took a proposal to the Plenary but they did not pay attention to it”, they add. However, they are tired of promises “because the previous mandate the same thing happened: a PP councilor came, told us that they would solve it and here we are.”

Those affected indicate that in the same area there is a municipal site that is also abandoned. “Ten years ago they came to clean it and they have never come back, it is the neighbors who try to keep it clean so that garbage and rats do not accumulate,” they point out.
