The City Council of Los Realejos reduces the rates for occupation of public space for fair stalls, street vendors and bus bars as an aid measure. The local government (PP) will discount up to 100% in the cases of social, charitable, cultural or public interest groups.

According to the first deputy mayor of Los Realejos, Adolfo González (PP), “we are promoting yet another measure of fiscal relief, in this case for an economic sector that has been particularly affected, with almost a total paralysis of its activity during approximately two years of health emergency. by Covid-19, a period in which they have had little or no opportunity to settle down to carry out their work due to the suspension of public events.

González adds that his proposal to modify the ordinance specifies that “when there are social, charitable, cultural or public interest reasons, the fees may be reduced to a maximum of 100%, upon express request and resolution.”

The modifications corresponding to the proposal that the local government will raise refer to articles 5 and 7 of the current fiscal ordinance regulating the rate for the private use or special use of the local public domain of the City Council of Los Realejos, of December 31, 2014. Specifically, modifications are proposed in headings B, E and F, which thus implies significant reductions in the rates that must be paid for occupation.
