The Cabildo de Tenerife and the Santa Cruz City Council continue to take steps to execute the agreement signed between both administrations for the remodeling of the TF-180 highway, which connects Santa Cruz and La Laguna, consisting of the Cabildo’s arrangement of the road to then hand it over to the Town Hall. Thus, as confirmed yesterday by the Councilor for Infrastructure, Dámaso Arteaga, “we are taking steps to acquire the private land that is affected by the remodeling of the TF-180, and in this line we are going to seek an agreement with the owners of the affected plots.

The Arteaga area is responsible, as published yesterday by the Official Gazette of the Province, of carrying out this negotiation that will consist, the mayor pointed out, “in speaking with each one of the people and convening a meeting with each one of those holders of the plots”. “Still -he continued- we still have a way to dispose of the land, but there is the will of the Cabildo and the City Council to advance in the acquisition of the land that is affected by the project”. The number of affected plots is still under study.
