The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has decided this Monday to close the carnival fair and the squares and parks of the municipality to the public due to the risk of falling branches and trees due to the passage through the island of the Celia storm.
Throughout the morning, from the Cecopal fifty incidents related to the wind were managed, such as the displacement of containers; falls from branches and trees; fenced; tents and infrastructures; signage at risk and street furniture.
Many incidents related to the movement of plates and metal fencing. We share this video of what we found when we arrived at La Abejera street, an area near Somosierra. @CECOPALSC pic.twitter.com/mq7J4GYd2D
