On account of the terrible event that occurred in Elche whose protagonist, a young fifteen-year-old, has coldly murdered his family, I have recalled a magnificent talk by my admired countryman Javier Urra to which, under the motto “Setting limits also helps them grow”, I had the honor of attending a few years ago. That activity was part of a series of days of reflection for fathers and mothers that took place on the islands of Tenerife, La Gomera and La Palma. Urra, doctor in Psychology and Health Sciences and the first Ombudsman for Minors of the Community of Madrid, is a benchmark in educational matters and has generously shared his knowledge through numerous books whose reading I highly recommend, among them «Educar with common sense», «What are our children hiding?», «The little dictator» and «The little dictator grows up» and, more recently, «Parents guide: new technologies».
