The Common Deputy, Rafael Yanes Mesa, and the Deputy for Equality between Men and Women and Gender Violence of the Common Council, Beatriz Barrera, made an official visit to the town hall on Thursday, February 10, where they were received by the Mayor, Emilio Navarro and by the Mayor’s advisor, Alejandra Lecuona.
During their visit to the municipality, the Common Deputy and the deputy transferred to the mayor the possibility of collaborating to arbitrate the necessary prevention and protection action protocols so that there is a work environment free of sexual harassment and harassment based on sex.
In addition, it was put on the table to work on the approval, in plenary session, so that a minimum percentage of the total public contracts of the City Council be reserved for special employment centers of social initiative and insertion companies.
