They demand a reduction in the prices of the La Teja Sports Complex

Canarian Coalition in the municipality of The tank has demanded the Government Group of the PSOE to lower the prices of La Teja Sports Complex, in San José de Los Llanos, in addition to expanding and setting its opening and closing hours. The nationalists criticize that “despite the fact that there is very little demand for the paddle tennis courts of said sports venue, their prices are much higher than in other similar facilities». The game hour costs 12.64 euros. In addition, from CC they request that the hours of the complex be more extensive and punctual, “not like until now that they do not have fixed opening or closing hours.”

The nationalist councilor of El Tanque Zebezui Gonzalez requires the councilor responsible for Sports of the municipality, Jhonny Carmenatywhich “modifies the municipal ordinance that regulates the prices of this sports venue, an ordinance that dates, as the mayor of Sports himself acknowledges, from 2000, when the PSOE and the PP governed the municipality.”

In CC they focus their criticism on the management of the local government with this sports complex and recall that “in mid-2021, the local government of the PSOE closed La Teja Sports Complex without any foresight, leaving the boys and girls without any playful activity». The nationalists affirm that “the current local government is thinking more of their personal benefit than of our municipality, and they continue with the propaganda on their personal social networks.”

This municipal sports space was inaugurated on November 21, 2021, after an investment of €65,000 shared between the City Council and the Canary Islands Government.
