SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 23 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Two motorcyclists have been injured in a crash on Subida La Chiquita, in the municipality of Guía de Isora, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert reporting the collision of two motorcyclists who required medical assistance
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and a medical helicopter, a basic life support ambulance and another sanitized SUC, Civil Guard and Local Police attended the scene.
The Civil Guard delimited an area for the landing of the helicopter on the road, close to the point of collision. The SUC staff assessed and assisted those affected, who presented injuries of various kinds.
One of the injured, a 33-year-old man, presented polytrauma at the initial moment of care and was transferred in the medical helicopter from the SUC to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
The other affected, a 22-year-old man, suffered a moderate lumbar trauma and was transferred in the sanitary ambulance from the SUC to Hospiten Sur.
