SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 27 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Agents of the Civil Guard belonging to the Rural Patrol of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Company have arrested a 30-year-old man, a resident of the municipality, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health, in the form of drug trafficking.
The events occurred when the Civil Guard agents who were providing citizen security prevention services, and while they were carrying out a verification point for people and vehicles, identified the driver of a vehicle that was circulating on a highway in El Rosario and suspected Due to his nervous state, he may be hiding something.
For this reason, they decided to carry out a superficial search of the vehicle, discovering inside and in a hidden way, two pieces of narcotic substance – hashish – with a total weight of approximately 200 grams, as well as 1,274 euros in cash, divided into different types of tickets.
According to the events previously reported, the agents proceeded to arrest the man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health.
The detainee, along with the proceedings, has been placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction of the Guard of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
