SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 19 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The National Police have arrested a 44-year-old man avoiding the occupation of a house in the Camino de La Villa de La Laguna neighborhood (Tenerife) thanks to the warning of the neighbors who noticed the situation.
This has been reported by the Higher Police Headquarters of the Canary Islands, which adds that, in addition, the man had a valid judicial arrest warrant issued by a court in the city of Los Adelazados.
Neighbors observed a man who, without being known to the neighborhood, tried to enter a house where no one currently resided, so they called 091, who transferred a patrol to the place.
The police officers thus identified the alleged perpetrator of the occupation when he was leaving the property, who acknowledged that he was neither the resident of the house nor its owner.
After carrying out the appropriate checks in the databases of the General Police Directorate, the agents learned that this man had a valid arrest warrant issued by a court in the capital of Tenerife, for which they detained him to be placed available to the competent judicial authority.
