Two deaths and 376 new cases of coronavirus in the Canary Islands

The Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government today communicates provisionally 376 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in the Archipelago. The total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 105,154 with 4,740 assets, of which 39 are admitted to the ICU and 212 remain hospitalized.

In addition, in the last hours the death of two people in Tenerife has been reported, pending validation by Public Health.

By islands, Tenerife Today it adds 126 cases with a total of 49,730 accumulated cases and 1,995 epidemiologically active cases.

Gran canaria It has 40,289 accumulated cases, 159 more than the previous day and 2,003 active.

Lanzarote adds 24 new cases with 7,607 accumulated and 185 active, while Fuerteventura it has 5,309 accumulated cases, with 57 new cases, and 454 active ones.

The Palm adds eight new positives so it has 1,282 accumulated and 80 assets.

The iron he does not add new positives, so his accumulated are 469 and he has an active case.

La Gomera adds two new cases, so it has 467 and its assets are 22.

To date, a total of 2,435,181 have been carried out diagnostic tests in the Islands, of which 8,246 correspond to yesterday.

Health recalls that these data published today on the Grafcan portal are provisional and are pending validation by the Public Health teams, since the Alerts and Emergencies Coordination Center does not receive epidemiological information from the autonomous communities. Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

For this reason, it may vary once it is epidemiologically reviewed and consolidated by the General Directorate of Public Health according to the established protocols, so that in the coming days discrepancies may arise in the updating of the data contained in the Grafcan website, advises Health.
