SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 24 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The spokesperson for the Popular Group, Australia Navarro, said this Wednesday that the 2022 regional budgets demonstrate the “incompetence, foolishness and recklessness” of the Canary Islands Government and are “a short and paste” whose only mission is to keep the quadripartite in power “at the cost of the impoverishment of the canaries”.

In defense of the amendment to the totality in the first reading debate before the Plenary of Parliament, he has rejected the “propaganda” of the Executive with an “insensitive” and “not very serious” accounts, with an “unrealistic” estimate of income.

He said that the document “is pure science fiction” and “dead paper” at a time of rising inflation and commodity prices, and with the main economic organizations revising growth forecasts in Spain downwards.

Navarro has spoiled the Government that presents a projection of tax collection of 284 million and although taxes are not raised, they do “the companions” of Moncloa. “They benefit from Sánchez’s fiscal sablazo,” he stressed.

In addition, the Government has pointed out “lies” because the indebtedness is going to rise, since the Executive changes short-term debt for long-term.

He has called “alarming” the lack of rigor in the budget with non-financial expenses because they are based on “not credible” economic forecasts, and sees “immoral” that with evictions and bankruptcies growing, the housing policy alone affect 1.5% of the budget.

Navarro has indicated that social services are “irrelevant” and the Government “does not have empathy and solidarity” with the rise in inflation. “Canaries are poorer every day and a government is expected not to look the other way,” he said.

He has pointed out that the budget is a “crude copy” of the ineffective policies of recent years and “wastes” the largest amount of public resources in history.
