The Canary Islands start the week with 191 new infections and one deceased

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands notify this monday 191 new cases of Covid-19. The total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 100,915 with 2,498 active persons, of which 22 are admitted to the ICU and 181 remain hospitalized. In the last hours the death of a 93-year-old woman in Gran Canaria, who suffered from previous pathologies and was in hospital.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 75 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and after 14 days in the 131.16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife Today there are 80 cases with a total of 48,025 accumulated cases and 1,139 epidemiologically active cases; Gran canaria It has 38,492 accumulated cases, 76 more than the previous day and 956 active. Lanzarote adds 14 new cases with 7,391 accumulated and 153 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura it has 4,901 accumulated cases, with 18 new cases, and 206 active ones. The Palm adds three new positives so it has 1,189 accumulated and 31 assets. The iron it does not add new positives, so its accumulated are 469 and its assets are two. La Gomera, without new cases, it remains with 447 accumulated and eleven active.

To date, a total of 2,351,412 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 3,394 correspond to yesterday.
