The Civil Guard, through the resolution of November 12, has incorporated into its Social Action Plan for this year urgent aid for people affected by the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the island of La Palma.
In this way, it is intended to help cover, as far as possible, the expenses and damages caused by the eruption of the volcanic crest of Cumbre Vieja and thus be able to face the economic losses produced, among others, those derived from material damage and relocation expenses. that would have been necessary.
This new aid, which may be requested until November 24, is aimed at those civil guards affected by the volcano and who are in any administrative situation in which they remain subject to the general regime of rights and duties of the members of the Guard. Civil, in addition to those who are on leave of absence for the care of family members and students of the corporal and guards scale.
The coverage period will run from September 19 to December 31 of this year and can be received up to a maximum of 10,000 euros.
Likewise, it may be compatible with other aids that may be granted by other public administrations or with the corresponding compensation under insurance policies, without, in any case, the global import of all of them exceeding the value of the damage produced.
