SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –

Agents of the National Police have arrested a 51-year-old man with a police record in the Ofra neighborhood, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of threats and damages.

The agents were required to move to the neighborhood because an individual threw different household objects onto the public highway from the apartment where he lived.

Once in the place they verified that in the street there were household goods and appliances such as a television, bottles and tools and even a laundry sink had been thrown through the interior courtyard of the building causing material damage.

The man, upon seeing the national policemen, threatened to set fire to the building and take his own life and that of the agents who could intervene with a knife in his hand.

Faced with the impossibility of reasoning with him, specialized agents of the National Police entered the house and detained him, taking away the knife he was holding.

The actions have been carried out by national police officers from the Citizen Security Brigade of the Provincial Police Station of the National Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
