Santiago del Teide lights up the façade of the City Hall in orange due to ADHD

Today October 27 the National Day of Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder is celebrated in Spain. Faced with this commemoration, the Santiago del Teide City Council has joined it with the aim of continuing to give visibility to these types of neurobiological disorders suffered by children and adolescents.

In this sense, the façade of the City Hall has been lit in orange with the idea that all citizens know the commemoration of the National Day of Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder and show solidarity with the families whose little ones and little ones suffer from it.

ADHD is a disorder associated with neurodevelopment that begins to occur from childhood and continues to remain until adulthood. The lack of concentration is a symptom that continues over time and fully affects the family, education or social relationships.

The City Council wants to reinforce the visibility of this disorder with this gesture, and thus disseminate this commemoration among citizens to make it a more diverse and inclusive society.
