SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Governing Council authorized in its session this Thursday the Ministry of Health to extend the provision of the cleaning service of the health centers of the Primary Care Management of Tenerife, of the Canary Health Service, which is currently carried out by the company Tragsa through a commission to own personified means.
The extension has a term of six months, between November 1 of this year and April 30, 2022, and a budget of 2,720,474.58 euros, conditions that have been accepted by the company.
This authorization allows the Tenerife Primary Care Management Department to guarantee the continuity of an essential service for the development of healthcare activity in its network of health centers and local clinics, as the urgency and reasons of public interest persist after the resolution of the contract with the previous successful bidder, which makes this new extension necessary until the formalization of the contract resulting from the new bidding procedure.
The orders to personified own media are regulated in article 32 of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts and constitute an instrument available to public administrations to directly execute the benefits of the contracts, such as services, through another different legal person, under public or private law, upon request, in exchange for a fee compensation and that has the legal qualification of its own personified medium.
