SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 20 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Agents of the National Police arrested a 48-year-old man last Monday, in a park frequented by minors, for threatening to kill a mother after lowering his pants in their presence.
The detainee, with multiple police records, is charged with the alleged crimes of threats, breach of sentence and disobedience to agents of the authority.
In the middle of the afternoon of the 18th, the man allegedly lowered his pants before minors who were in Don Quixote Park, even going so far as to threaten the mother of one of them who was at the scene with death.
Once the agents of the National Police arrived, they were informed about who had carried out the events; a middle-aged man they knew from previous professional experiences.
The agents tried to identify him fully, but he repeatedly refused as he tried to leave the scene. Given the circumstances, the national police officers proceeded to arrest him.
Later, they verified that he also had a restraining order that, apparently, was violated, which is why he was also informed of his rights.
The detainee, together with the statement made for this purpose, was made available to the competent judicial authority. The action has been carried out by national police officers from the Citizen Security Brigade of the Provincial Police Station of the National Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
