SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Two people have been injured in a traffic accident that occurred yesterday Friday in the municipality of Arona, in the south of Tenerife, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The injured are a man, whose age is unknown, who at the initial moment of assistance had multiple injuries of a serious nature, and a 57-year-old woman who suffered various injuries of a moderate nature.
The event occurred minutes after 11:30 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert reporting a frontal collision of two vehicles at the Palmar crossing.
As a result of the impact, the man was trapped inside one of the damaged vehicles, which required the intervention of firefighters to free him.
The SUC staff assisted the two affected, as well as their transfer to the Ntra. Sra. De Candelaria University Hospital. The Civil Guard instructed the corresponding proceedings.
