SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 8 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Governing Council authorized the Ministry of Health in its session this Friday to spend 7,713,194.01 euros in the centralized contracting of a supply of fuel (diesel class A) destined for the hospitals of the Canary Islands Service of health.
The contracting will be carried out by the General Directorate of Economic Resources of the SCS through the signing of a framework agreement, open adjudication procedure and ordinary processing, for a period of two years, extendable for another two.
The expected fuel consumption during the two annuities amounts to 7,977,803 liters, for which SCS hospitals will have a maximum bidding budget of 2,014,875.80 euros for contracting through a framework agreement at the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria , 1,461,674.44 euros at the Insular-Maternal-Infant University Hospital Complex, 1,347,762.41 euros at the Doctor Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria, 874,982.06 euros at the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital, 821,806.35 euros at the University Hospital of the Canary Islands; 755,085.35 euros at the General Hospital of Fuerteventura; 255,243.38 euros at the General Hospital of La Palma; 177,896.90 euros in the Hospital Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe and 3,867.32 euros in the Hospital Insular Nuestra Señora de los Reyes.
CENTRALIZED CONTRACTING
The Government highlights in a note that the centralized purchasing procedure and the signing of framework agreements have contributed notably to improving the efficiency in the provisioning of the health centers of the SCS and to the reduction in prices derived from the economy of scale.
During the year 2017, the contracting file for the contracting of the supply of class A diesel and industrial oil for various SCS centers was processed, through a framework agreement and open award procedure, which ends on April 26, 2022, therefore It is essential to process a new procedure for the purchase of fuel.
