The General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Canary Islands Government has gone down to Pre-alert the risk situation due to forest fires on the islands of El Hierro, La Gomera, La Palma, Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

The advertisement It will come into force at 7:00 am tomorrow, Monday, 4th of October.

The decision is adopted based on the information available and in application of Decree 60/2014, of May 29, which approves the Special Plan for Civil Protection and Attention to Emergencies due to Forest Fires of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands (INFOCA ).

On the other hand, given that the risk of forest fire persists, INFOCA remains activated in the pre-alert situation declared on July 1, 2021. In turn, Emergencias reminds that the municipality of Arico, on the island of Tenerife, remains for the moment in Emergency Situation, Level 0 (declaration 1/2021 / INFOCA).

Time prediction

The sky will be cloudy tomorrow in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and the north of the rest of the islands, with weak rains in the north of the more mountainous islands. Some clearings will open in the afternoon.

In the rest of the Archipelago, the sky will be slightly cloudy or clear tending to cloudy intervals in the afternoon.

The ashes of La Palma volcano, if the broadcast continued, would move to the south and west of the island.

Temperatures unchanged in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura and in slight to moderate decline in the rest of the islands.

The wind will blow from the northeast moderately with some strong intervals.

Lanzarote

Cloudy in general, with a low probability of light rains in the north. Temperatures unchanged. Moderate northeast wind.

Minimum temperature of 20 and maximum of 27 degrees in Arrecife

Fuerteventura

In general, cloudy, opening in the afternoon some clearings. Temperatures unchanged. Moderate northeast wind.

Minimum temperature of 20 and maximum of 25 degrees in Puerto del Rosario.

Gran canaria

In the north, cloudy with light rain, opening some clearings in the afternoon. In the rest slightly cloudy, increasing at intervals of low and high clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures with few changes on the coasts and in moderate to notable decrease in midlands and high areas. Moderate northeast wind, with strong intervals in the afternoon on the northwest and southeast slopes.

Minimum temperature of 21 and maximum of 26 degrees in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Tenerife

In the north, cloudy with light rain, opening some clearings in the afternoon. In the mid-southwest in the afternoon, cloudy accompanied by light rain. In the rest little cloudy tending to intervals of low and high clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures with few changes on the coasts and a slight to moderate decrease in the midlands and high areas. Moderate northeast wind with strong intervals in the afternoon in the extreme northwest and southeast slope.

Minimum temperature of 21 and maximum of 27 degrees in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The Palm

In the north and east, cloudy with light rain. In the rest slightly cloudy, increasing at intervals of low and high clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures with few changes on the coasts and a slight to moderate decrease in the midlands and high areas. Ashes, should the emission continue, predominantly in the south and west of the island. Moderate northeast wind.

Minimum temperature of 19 and maximum of 25 degrees in Santa Cruz de La Palma.

La Gomera

In the morning slightly cloudy or clear tending to cloudy intervals in the afternoon. Temperatures with few changes on the coasts and a slight to moderate decrease in the midlands and high areas. Moderate north wind.

Minimum temperature of 23 and maximum of 27 degrees in San Sebastián de La Gomera.

The iron

Low and high cloud intervals. Temperatures with few changes on the coasts and a slight to moderate decrease in the midlands and high areas. Moderate northeast wind.

Minimum temperature of 16 and maximum of 24 degrees in Valverde.
