In a meeting in which the councilor for the Treasury, Raquel García, participated, Lentini made it clear that “we support the security policies that are going to be carried out in plenary session”, which in addition to the cameras and the Los Cristianos office includes the mobile unit of complaints from the Local Police. These matters will be addressed in the ordinary plenary session called for today. The opposition rejected in an informative commission the financing for the cameras and to adapt police units.
Grupasca also expressed the demand to the Government of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo to undertake a road that directly connects the highway with the Hospital del Sur. In addition, he showed his support for the undergrounding of Chayofita avenue proposed by the mayor of Arona, as well as the reorganization of traffic in Los Cristianos and an improvement in public transport conditions. Likewise, he hopes that the project for the new Los Cristianos health center will be available in the coming months.
