SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –

A 53-year-old man was injured after suffering moderate burns during the fire that occurred this Saturday afternoon in a restaurant in Chirche, within the municipality of Guía de Isora (Tenerife).

According to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112, members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium came to the site, extinguishing the fire and ventilating the premises.

For its part, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted and stabilized the man, who had moderate back burns, which is why he was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Quirónsalud Costa Adeje Hospital.

Finally, agents of the Local Police took charge of instructing the corresponding proceedings.
