SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep 1 (EUROPA PRESS) –

A man, whose age is unknown, was injured with moderate concussions at dawn this Wednesday when he fell down a staircase and from a height of 10 meters in a leisure center in Arona.

The events took place around 2 a.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert requesting health care for a young man who had suffered a fall down some stairs approximately 10 meters high, in a leisure center.

Upon arrival of the Local Police at the scene of the incident, the intervention of the Firefighters is requested to extract the affected person from where he had fallen and that he could be assisted, and after immobilizing him, they transferred him on a stretcher to where the ambulance was.

The SUC staff assessed and stabilized the affected person before his transfer to Hospiten Sur in the basic life support ambulance.

The Local Police were in charge of taking the first security measures in the area, facilitating access of resources to the scene of the incident and preparing the corresponding report.
