The young Swiss woman rescued on Thursday in critical condition in the dangerous Cueva del Tancón, in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, has died. This was confirmed yesterday by official sources, who clarified that members of his family arrived on Saturday on the island knowing that it would be impossible to recover it.
With this fatal outcome, the number of deaths rises to two, as well as two slightly injured, due to a blow from the sea in a sea cave that has been forbidden to access for several years due to the high risk of drowning and landslides. The other deceased is the young Italian whose body was rescued in front of El Tancón.
