SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug 13 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 30-year-old man has died after suffering health problems and being rescued when he was at sea on the beach of Las Gaviotas, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the 112 of the Canary Islands .
The events occurred on Thursday afternoon on the aforementioned beach, where the affected person was taken out of the sea with symptoms of drowning after having suffered a health problem, then Red Cross troops verified that he was in cardiorespiratory arrest, so they began to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers.
Once the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) arrived, they continued with the advanced resuscitation maneuvers, without being able to reverse said stop, so they could only confirm the death of the man.
Likewise, at the scene of the incident, agents of the Local Police and the National Police appeared, who took charge of the judicial proceedings.
