SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug 12 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 49-year-old hunter has been moderately injured after suffering a fall in the area between Alto de Antequera and the Caserío de Lomo Bermejo, in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security of the 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred around 11:57 a.m. and the rescue helicopter of the Canary Islands Government’s Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) was transferred to the place because the affected person was in an area of difficult access, so After evacuating him, he was transferred to the Tenerife North airport where an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) was waiting for him.
Subsequently, the SUC staff verified that the man had several moderate traumas, for which he was transferred to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
Likewise, at the scene of the incident, members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium, as well as Rural Guards, Civil Protection and Local Police appeared, who collaborated in the resolution of the events.
