SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The National Police have arrested a man, 22 years old and with a police record, as the alleged perpetrator of three crimes of robbery with violence or intimidation committed in two hotel establishments in Puerto de la Cruz, on the island of Tenerife.
The arrest came after the young man allegedly robbed two hotels in Puerto de la Cruz in the first days of August, in one of them on two occasions, seizing a total of 360 euros, as reported by the National Police in a note. press.
The young man used a similar modus operandi in all cases, in such a way that he supposedly entered the hotel hooded and headed towards the reception, taking advantage of moments when there was no one but the receptionist, who he intimidated with a knife and ordered him to to give him whatever money he had, running away after taking it.
Specifically, on the day of his arrest, he was caught by the agents in the vicinity of a hotel, in possession of a knife and wearing the clothes he allegedly used to commit the previous violent robberies.
Finally, the detainee has been placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority, which determined his entry into prison.
