Firefighters from Tenerife intervened this past Tuesday afternoon in a kitchen fire in a home on San Martín street, in the Tenerife municipality of La Laguna, caused by the occupants forgetting a pan on the stove.
According to the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium on their social networks, once there, the emergency members evacuated the affected people and began extinguishing the fire using a powder extinguisher.
Once the fire was put out, the firefighters ventilated the property and cooled the area due to the large amount of smoke still coming from the kitchen.
The operation also involved the Local Police of La Laguna, the National Police, Civil Protection, and staff from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC).
