What Will the Weather Be Like in the Canaries This Tuesday?

The cloudiness will continue to prevail this Tuesday in the Canary Islands, on a day when the high-altitude haze of recent days will be easing, according to Aemet.

At sea, northeasterly winds of 4 or 5, increasing to 6 in the southeast and northwest. Rough seas, very rough in the southeast and northwest. On the west coast, variable 1 to 3. Slight seas. Northern swell of 1 to 2 meters in the north.

FORECAST BY ISLANDS FOR THIS TUESDAY:

  • Arrecife: Cloudy in the north and east and west coasts, becoming slightly cloudy during the day with occasional intervals of high clouds. Light high-altitude haze easing. Temperatures with little change or a slight decrease in highs. Moderate northeasterly wind with strong intervals in the southern interior during the early morning and late hours, where very strong gusts are not ruled out.

    • Min/Max temperatures (°C): 19/25
  • Puerto del Rosario: Cloudy in the north and east and west coasts, becoming slightly cloudy during the day with occasional intervals of high clouds. Light high-altitude haze easing. Temperatures with little change or a slight decrease. Moderate northeasterly wind with strong intervals in the interior and east and west coasts during the early morning and late hours, where very strong gusts are not ruled out.

    • Min/Max temperatures (°C): 19/24
  • Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: Cloudy in the north and northeast, becoming slightly cloudy during the day. Elsewhere, slightly cloudy with intervals of high clouds and occasional low cloud intervals in the south at dawn. Haze in high areas easing. Temperatures with little change in low areas and a slight decrease in midlands and summits. Temperatures may locally reach 30 ºC on south and west slopes. Moderate northeasterly wind, with strong intervals on southeast and northwest slopes, where very strong gusts are not ruled out. Breezes on southwest coasts.

    • Min/Max temperatures (°C): 20/23
  • Santa Cruz de Tenerife: Cloudy intervals in the north, with clearing during the day. Elsewhere, slightly cloudy with intervals of high clouds in general and occasional low cloud intervals in the east and south. Haze in high areas easing. Temperatures with little change in low areas and a slight decrease in midlands and summits. Moderate northeasterly wind with strong intervals at southeast and northwest extremes. On central summits, occasionally strong southwest wind with a low probability of very strong gusts. Breezes on southwest coasts.

    • Min/Max temperatures (°C): 20/25
  • San Sebastián de La Gomera: Cloudy intervals in the north and east. Elsewhere, slightly cloudy with intervals of high clouds during the early morning and morning, and some occasional low cloud intervals on the west slope during the day. Light haze in high areas easing. Temperatures with little change. Moderate northeasterly wind, with strong intervals at southeast and northwest extremes, where very strong gusts are not ruled out. Breezes on west coasts.

    • Min/Max temperatures (°C): 20/25
  • Santa Cruz de La Palma: Cloudy intervals tending to slightly cloudy during the day with intervals of high cloudiness. Temperatures with little change. Northeasterly winds, with strong intervals on southeast and west slopes, where very strong gusts are not ruled out. Breezes on southwest coasts.

    • Min/Max temperatures (°C): 20/21
  • Valverde: Cloudy intervals tending to slightly cloudy during the day with intervals of high cloudiness. Temperatures with little change. Northeasterly winds, with strong intervals on southeast and west slopes, where very strong gusts are not ruled out. Breezes on southwest coasts.
    • Min/Max temperatures (°C): 14/18
