The Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands has announced that, starting next Monday at 9:00 p.m. and lasting until Thursday, May 29, at 06:00, both lanes of the TF-1 will be fully closed at the 64+270 point.
This closure is necessary to carry out the installation of a sea side in the upper passage of the Semienlace de Chafiras, which is part of the work on the third lane of the TF-1 in the San Isidro-to-the Americas stretch, specifically at the Ortoteanda-in Chafiras link, as detailed by the Regional Executive in a press release.
Furthermore, during the work, traffic will be redirected within the high and low Chafiras area, between exits 62 and 64, to ensure smooth traffic flow in the area and reduce the impact on road users.
The department is urging drivers to be extra cautious, to respect traffic signals, and to follow instructions from operators in order to ensure safety in the area during the construction.
