The former Minister of Transportation, José Luis Ábalos, is scheduled to appear before the Commission for the Purchase of Health Materials during the Pandemic in the Canary Islands Parliament on Monday, 26 May. His appearance is expected to take place at 12.00, according to sources from the Regional Chamber.
Ábalos was supposed to appear before the commission on 21 April, but that was postponed for personal reasons. The next scheduled date, 28 April, was also delayed, this time due to medical reasons.
The Commission has convened over thirty times and has called more than fifty parties to appear. They aim to complete their work by October, following a second extension approved by the Commission’s committee.
