A man has passed away this Sunday after becoming trapped beneath a door outside an industrial site located on the TF-625 road in the municipality of Arico, as reported by 1-1-2 Canary Islands.
The incident took place at 12:45, when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands government received a notification that an individual had been trapped under a door outside an industrial establishment.
Firefighters were sent to the scene to release the individual and assist the medical personnel.
The crew from the SUC and the local Health Centre discovered that the man was in cardiac arrest and performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques, unfortunately without success, confirming his demise.
The circumstances surrounding the accident have yet to be disclosed, and the Civil Guard is conducting the necessary investigations.
