Eighteen students from the 4th year of ESO and 1st year of Baccalaureate from the Secondary Education Institute Luis Diego Cuscoy in Arona participated last week in the initiative Educate in Justice, an informative project established in collaboration with the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands and the Regional Education Ministry.
The group, accompanied by Geography and History teacher José Lorenzo Chinea, attended a series of hearings for minor offences in an Arona Court of Instruction. This marks the second consecutive year that IES Luis Diego Cuscoy has engaged in this experience. Both educators and the school management deem the activity to be of a very high standard and “extremely beneficial”.
