Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 27th April. (Press Europa) –
The Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands has announced that, starting this Sunday at 10:00 p.m. until Wednesday, 30th April, at 06:00 hours, traffic on the TF-1 will be affected during the night, in both directions, to facilitate the assembly of prefabricated beams from kilometre marker 62 +196, on the sea side.
This closure is implemented to continue with the scheduled works for the assembly of the prefabricated beams of the Semienlace de Chafiras, as part of the construction of the third lane on the TF-1, in the San Isidro-the Americas section, particularly at the Chafiras interchange, as highlighted by the Regional Department in a statement.
Therefore, during the execution of the planned works in the area, traffic from within the high and low Chafiras Industrial Polygon will be diverted, specifically in the stretch between exits 62 and 64.
The Executive asserts that this measure is intended to ensure road safety, maintain traffic flow, and minimise, as much as possible, inconvenience for regular users of the road.
The General Directorate of Road Infrastructure has requested that drivers exercise extreme caution, as well as abide by traffic signals and instructions from operators to ensure safety in the area throughout the duration of the works.
