Santa Cruz de Tenerife 26. (Press Europa) –
A motorist sustained injuries this Saturday following a collision between a motorcycle and a tourist vehicle on the TF-154, near Portezuelo, within the municipality of Tegueste, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-2.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operations centre received a notification regarding the collision and informed that the rider needed medical attention, prompting the immediate activation of emergency services to respond to the scene.
A physician from the Canary Health Service, who was nearby, provided initial assistance to the injured party until the arrival of the Canarian Emergency Services (SUC).
Upon arrival, the paramedics from DIRs attended to the individual, who exhibited moderate polytrauma, and subsequently transported them to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Meanwhile, the Civil Guard managed traffic and carried out the necessary procedures.
